Important note

The instructions below refer exclusively to replacing the filters in the Sparkling. For filter replacement in the Sparkling PRO, please refer to the BASIC operating manual. (In the PRO version, no filters are installed in the Sparkling itself; the high-performance membrane filtration of the BASIC is used instead.)

Introduction

Only use original replacement filters from aqua-global GmbH.
Before replacing the filter, shut off the water supply via the integrated corner valve and completely empty the tank by drawing water via button 7 (see page 9 - 4.7). Then disconnect the mains plug.
Then follow the illustrated instructions below to perform the filter replacement.

Filter Replacement — Sparkling

Step 1 — Remove the device cover by pressing the clip on the back of the device.

Steps 2 – 3 — Press the release button on the filter distributor and remove the distributor from the device.

Step 4 — Unscrew the old filters from the distributor counter-clockwise.

Step 5 — Screw the new filters into the distributor by pushing them upwards and turning them clockwise.

Steps 6 – 7 — Reinsert the distributor and ensure it clicks into place correctly. Press down firmly. If the water flow is very low after replacement, the filters may not be fully inserted.

Steps 6-7: reinsert the dispenser

Step 8 — Close the cover, open the water supply at the corner valve and plug in the mains plug again. Then rinse the filters for 5 minutes: fresh water for approx. 2.5 min, then room temperature water for approx. 2.5 min. It is normal for particles, turbidity or micro-bubbles to appear during rinsing.
