Filter Replacement Cycle
The recommended replacement cycle is only an estimate and depends on user behavior:
- Composite Filter — typically every 6 to 12 months
- Post-Filter — typically every 6 to 12 months
- Membrane — typically every 12 to 24 months
- UV Lamp — typically every 60 months
Introduction
- To ensure proper operation, the filter must be changed at the specified intervals. Only use original aqua-global filters. Using replacement filters not approved by the manufacturer can lead to malfunctions or damage. The use of such filters will void any warranty claims for the device.
- Before changing the filter, turn off the water supply using the integrated angle valve under the sink.
- Then empty the internal tank by placing a sufficiently large container under the water outlet, and then pressing and holding the "Room" and "Tea" buttons for approximately 6 seconds.
- Then follow the illustrated instructions below to change the filter.
Filter Replacement
- The first step is to turn off the water supply via the angle valve under your sink and unplug the device. Then remove the back cover of the device.
- Remove the composite filter by unscrewing it counter-clockwise.
- Also remove the membrane by unscrewing it counter-clockwise from the housing.
- You will now reach the post-filter, which you can remove using the key ring, and then replace.
- Now insert the new composite filter.
- If you have also received a new membrane, insert it now. Otherwise, put the old membrane back into the housing.
- Open the water supply at the angle valve.
- Reconnect the power plug to the socket.
- Then check that everything is tightly sealed.
- Now perform the RESET function. To do this, simultaneously press "ROOM" and "BABY" for 6 seconds until a signal sounds three times (deactivate child safety beforehand).
- Finally, replace the back cover.
